Our social responsibility
starts with a proud Indigenous heritage.
Yurringa is a 100% Indigenous owned business.
Daniel Briggs, Founder and Managing Director is a proud descendant of the Yorta Yorta people who are the Traditional Custodians of the region surrounding the junction of the Goulburn and Murray Rivers.
Our corporate values
Yurringa was established to address the inequality and disadvantage faced by many Indigenous people. To deliver on our mission of improving the prosperity of First Nations Peoples – we focus on employment. Yurringa now matches both Indigenous and non-Indigenous job seekers with Australian companies looking for specific skills.
The clients we work with are committed to diversity and inclusiveness. We focus on the unique value every individual brings to the workplace - both within our own company and for our clients. This means we advocate for the inclusion of everyone (across all diversity dimensions). Our measure of success is when all employees feel safe and welcome at work.
Yurringa assists Australian organisations to use their purchasing power to generate social benefits. By transacting with Yurringa, our clients and partners are not only achieving positive employment outcomes, they’re supporting social re-investment and increasing Indigenous participation in the workforce and economy.

Diversity & Inclusion
We work with clients to review or develop a Diversity & Inclusion Policy and Practices. While Yurringa’s consultation extends across all aspects of diversity, it includes building awareness of how the actions of past generations still impact Indigenous people today. Most importantly, we share how acknowledgement and learning from the past can help us all move forward together. Our approach to cultural awareness training is to provide contextual insights (usually within a working environment) through positive and informative discussions.
